Caprice thought she should try and remove the egg from Dora but luckily didn't.
Too much chocolate not good for a liitle girl.

This was an indoor Easter Egg hunt for Caprice as if we had hidden them in the garden i am sure the dogs would have eaten them paper and all.
This was Caprice's basket but it was not full of chocolate

Ice Cream Time

My grandaughter Caprice was being looked after by her Uncle Shaun and how lucky was Caprice that the ice cream van came past at the right time.
Only special uncles can spoil their nieces just before dinner.
Shhhhh.... we won't tell the parents

I Spy Quilt

I have finally in my bit of spare been getting some sewing done, this one is for a friends daughter who is having a baby.
Nice bright colours for liitle eyes to look at, now just to sew it all together and add the borders and backing.

Good Friends

I am so lucky to have so many good friends in my life, i treasure them all and they play such an important part in my life.
They are like a box of chocolates, all different ages from all walks of life but all so caring and loving.

Sheep fabric

Well i think this is the favourite piece of fabric out of all of it, lovely sheep. I wonder when i will be able to teach Caprice how to use tyhe sewing machine, may be next week? I wonder?

More Fabrics

Can't you just see the delight on Caprices face at finding some lovely fabric and believe me she found a lot of uses for it... even gave her liitle bears a blankie to sleep

My Precious Girl

I had a lovely morning with my grandaughter Caprice and as you can see she is already interested in some sewing and sorting fabrics... what a delight to finally have a girl in the family i can share with... i am in heaven

Box Of chocolates

I am so lucky to have a lovely friend who lives in the UK. We have never met but have corresponded in one way or another for about 11-12 years i think. We have shared a lot of ups and downs in our lives but always been there for each other. I have not been very well for awhile and my dear friend Wendy-Sue in her thoughfulness sent me the most beautiful box of miniature bears. They arrived in a box and were wrapped in their own little paper with a message on each and had the appearance they were chocolates.
Receiving them has made my life feel so much better and having my lovely friend think of me just gave me the most enormous lift not to mention i shed a number of tears. Thank you my precious friend.

I Wonder Why

I sometimes question myself after all of this time
why i am a nurse? Staying up all night doing a double
shift is no fun and very tiring indeed.

Owl Material

I bought this material yesterday, i wasn't particularly
looking for it but it just seemed to have found me, of
course it begged me to buy it and who am i to say no.
I know someone who will be very jealous.... now i
